Surnames: Winburn Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ya.2ADI/162.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Brinda, Both Lorrine "Lori" Winburn Gaide (through her deceased sister's, research) and I (through my research) have only found that his name was Caswell, not John Caswell since his brother's name was John William "Billy" Winburn (source was pension papers and church records). We also show that he was married to a Martha Rottenbery. This is very close to your "Revell." John William also named his only son, "John Caswell." John William's brother, Caswell, died in Florida. We also have had contact with another one of Caswell's descendants, who also happens to live in Florida. His name is Bill Kirkland. I have a lot more on this family and some of their other connections on my genealogy web site. It has not been updated for awhile. I will be updating it soon. I will send you a private e-mail to answer me back, would like to know more about your line. Kim

    1. [GADODGE] COLLEEN'S OCTOBER CHALLENGE
    2. Colleen Pustola
    3. Hi everyone, October is Family History Month. In honor of this I offer you the following challenge... Tell us about one of your county families and who it is you're looking for. If you have several, do each family in a separate e-mail, but let's see all the families that list members are actively seeking. Some of you may have posted this data in the past month. To you I say this... list members come and go. Perhaps a new list member is looking for that same family. I hope you're all having just a TERRIFIC Tuesday! :) Colleen

    1. [GADODGE] HOTMAIL & MSN ACCOUNTS
    2. Colleen Pustola
    3. Hi everyone, For the past several days I've been receiving bounced messages like crazy from Hotmail and MSN accounts... Do you have a Hotmail account? Did you sign up with an email addy like <yourlogin@hotmail.com>? If so, you should know that your email address is now coming out as <yourlogin@hotmail.msn.com>. Do you have an MSN account? Did you sign up with an email addy like <yourlogin@msn.com>? If so, you'll want to know that your email address is now reading <yourlogin@email.msn.com>! How long this will last is anyone's guess. MSN seems to have field days with everyone's addresses, changing them every few weeks. You'll want to know that if 4 list messages bounce, Rootsweb's servers will automatically unsubscribe you from the list. If that should happen, please just resubscribe and understand what happened. You might then, want to change email addresses *away* from Hotmail and/or MSN. As it is, if you try to unsub with @hotmail.com or @msn.com addresses, it won't work and you'll need me to manually unsubscribe you. Also, please realize you're not alone! Everyone else with Hotmail or MSN email addies are going through the same thing. We'll just work the problem *together*!... provided this message gets through to you. :) SUPER Saturday wishes to everyone! :) Colleen

I guess when James Matthew died my grandma Pearl went to live with the Wise's. She would have been 10 when he died. There was a big falling out between the Wise's and James over his marriage to Carrie. Apparently they were opposed to that marriage. I guess grandma was so young tho that she couldn't remember the facts and she died in 1953 so it has been a long time since my mom and aunt have heard the story. If anyone has photo's please share. All of our photo's were stolen years ago. We only have 1 of each grand parent. Contact me at tracitah2o@yahoo.com Thanks, Tracy P.S. I am a girl.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ya.2ADI/606.3.2.1.1 Message Board Post: Just for the record! There was no DODGE Co., GA. until Oct. 26, 1870. So anyone who died before that time had to die somewheres else....Dodge was formed form Montgomery, Pulaski, and Telfair counties in 1870 and also took more land from Pulaski Co in 1872, 74 and 76... Since Wm Levi Harrell d. 1881 he was probably in Dodge county; but Susan Winniford Williams d. 1868, wife of Wm Levi, did not died in Dodge Co..Where she died probably became Dodge Co after 1870. I got the dates and places of death from Marilu Smallwood's "Burch, Harrell and Allied Families, Vol I, pg. 182." And as I have said elsewhere on these boards, "; Smallwood has been known to be wrong"... This time probably only half wrong... Later, Bill

I was just passing info from Smallwood's Burch, Harrell and Allied families Books along to Tracy Markham, who is also in this thread with us.. I believe he said two sons because he thought, as I did, that Willie was a boy.. Smallwood has two children listed for Riley Bailey and Carrie Weeks; Ross mar'd Della Durham and Willie. She says Willie mar'd at age fifteen but doesnt say to who... Now Willie being a girl makes sense as boys didnt usually marry that young. Smallwood also states "Carrie Weeks had no children by second marriage to Matthew Parkerson." (Yeah she left off the James) I have only one WEEKS that I'm really looking for.
