Caroline Rutha Yawn was my g-g-grandmother. Your information is same info that I have with the exception that she died in Dodge County and is buried at Lovely Grove Cemetery, Dodge County, GA. She had 12 children of her own and raised another daughter. You noted her parents were from South Carolina. Do you know their names, or any information on them? My brick wall is Rutha Caroline YAWN, b. 22 Feb 1821 GA; d. 6 Jan 1880 Dodge Co, GA; m. 8 Nov 1840 Laurens Co, GA (but marriage application made in Pulaski Co, GA) to John S. LIVINGSTON. Rutha is found in the 1870 Pulaski Co, GA Census, her husband having died c1857-1869. I've determined that Rutha was living in Pulaski Co. until about 1869. Per the 1880 Dodge Co, GA Census, Rutha Caroline Yawn Livingston's parents were born in SC. Help? Donna Wall Gwinnett Co, GA

This will provide their parents names and where each of your parents were born. I have several Mullis' in my PAF data base, but neither of these names matched. Maybe a generation back will offer your more information. My GGrandmother was Rosa Clyde Mullis b. 12/4/1892 d. 12/30/1950 in Chester, GA. She and several other members of my family are buried in the Mullis Cemetery just outside of Chester, GA. Good luck ! Beth
