Hi Tim, I didn't realize it before, but we share a common ancestor. My line comes from Nellie Morgan Nichols, who married 2nd John Murkerson on 25 Dec 1854 in Randolph Co. Their son John Ross Murkerson is my 3g grandfather. I just found this information out, last October when I was home and was able to transcribe some cemeteries. Do you know much about Nellie Morgan or her family. I will be glad to share what information I have on this other side of her family with you.
