Looking for any connections to Col. Richard Sims,CSA, of Bainbridge.He was the son of Richard Sims Sr. who moved to Decatur Co. around 1830 from Hancock Co.,Ga.Col. Sims Died in Bainbridge in 1872.Wife #1 was Charlotte Morgan.They had 3 sons before her death, William Peabody Sims, Richard Sims and Charles Sims.Wife 2 was Susan Caroline Paulette, They had 4 children, Elizabeth,Lonidas,Joseph and Jesse.(Jesse was my grandfather).
