I am reasearching the family of ELWOOD PATRICK YAWN who married LEAH EMMA TAYLOR. They lived in Decatur Co Ga in the early 1800's. Patrick may have come from SC about 1830. Patrick was born about 1805 and died 12 JUL 1891. He marred Leah on 11 JUN 1829. Leah was born 07 OCT 1815 and died 17 OCT 1898. Their children were: Nancy, Margaret Ann, Martha Ann Elizabeth, James Franklin, William Jackson, John, Alford Augustus, Henry Jasper, Patrick, Rebecca Ann, Amanda Lucretia, Margaret Ann Leah, and Thomas Buchanan.
