I have been trying to find James Sammons who died in Dade county about 1845. Is it possible he might be listed in your cemetery book? I'd appreciate a look up. Thanks in advance. Donna in Wichita, KS

Donna, He doesn't have a tombstone. If he did, I'd be surprised as very few burials for that time period in Dade Co do have. Were the children of James, Lewis (md Rachel Matilda Ross), Francis, Benjamin and Sarah (md Joe Brown)? These children were enumerated on the 1850 census in the household of Bird Street.
