There was a Cemetary on New Home Loop Rd. several years ago....it was on the Stallings family land. One of the Stallings family members had the cemetary destroyed. Now, recently an older lady who lives down the road from this cemetary told me that when her oldest daughter was a baby, she would walk her over there and they would pick up sticks and rack leaves back from the graves. And, "yes" they had headstones. She remembers only one name being there.....there were other names....but she only remembers the name Murphy. The lady said when the road was built through that area, it was cut to the left more than usual because they couldn't go through the cemetary. Over the years....I've heard the cemetary was started due to a motel fire in that area, several people including some children were killed. You may want to look to that area for some of your missing Murphy's in the Cole City area. Suzie
