Dennie My grandmother, Carra Lee Wade, later Carlee Clements, was according to family word of mouth, born in Dade County(Lookout Mt., I think) in 1879. I found her & her family--Robert Wade, father, & Mary Kemp, mother, in the DeKalb County, Alabama, 1880 census. I have found her nowhere else until 1910 census in Illinois. I think Robert's parents were Xerxes & Margaret Wade. I can find them nowhere but in the same 1880 census as Robert. Do you know of any of these names? They seem to have moved around a lot.
