    3. OK Sue: Post the story. Do you mean to post the article by Dr. Merton Coulter, Georgia Historian, ha. Bet you don't dare. Anyway, his article is in the library at Trenton, I know, I gave it to the library. Also, are you going to post the court records of Dade for the years right after the Civil War when the citizens were begging for aid from the state. Doesn't read like they considered themselves Free. Or are you going to point out how many of those veterans got pensions from the state of Georgia. Old stories die hard regardless of who made them up or how totally illogical they may be. Paul Bet this means I have to slip in and out of the county now. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Beverly Forrester" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, March 06, 2001 8:02 PM Subject: Re: [GADADE] Can someone help with county info? > Hi Delilah, > > Well, if you ask some of older native Dade Countians this question you will > probably hear the story about Uncle Bob Tatum. 3. Hi Paul, I think maybe the "hanging tree" might still be in Trenton too. Sue ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul R.L.
