I went to LaFayette back in 1998 (I think) and found Durham Rd and believe that I did copy this I have from the library, it is only the parts that have EVANS on it - that is when I met Mr Harmon and he told me all about the Durham Mine.     3. Delilah, The rough draft copy was in the LaFayette Library at that time (1998). I know the man who transcribed and the lady who typed it into a book form and as far as I know there were 2/3 copies made. It was transcribed from microfilm.     3. The LaFayette Library does have the census microfilm. The WALKER COUNTY MESSENGER began in 1880 and they have them on mircofilm also.
