I have not been able to document my Daniel E. Elllis to any parents or lineage. I do know he was German and married Juda "Ann" Powell (daughter of Jesse Powell & Hixie Martin) in Dade Co, GA. March 8, 1871, recorded Book B-C, 1866-1901, microfilm 0419133-0419134. I do know Daniel E. Ellis was definietely German as this was told me by my grandmother, his daughter, Hixie Isabelle Ellis-Howard.
