They may be the parents of John Jones Payne b 16 Aug 1851 d 1916. John married Matilda Willametta Long (Tillie) on 14 Jan 1891 in Dekalb, AL. They had Theresa Willametta Payne 25 Mar 1898 in Rising Fawn, Dade, GA. Theresa is my great grandmother. I haven't been able to confirm much of this info, so if this sounds like the same family you are researching, let me know. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
