Thomas Payne was in DeKalb County AL... Deer Head Cove area but it was listed PO Sulphur Springs on the census. I don't know of a connection between Thomas and Larkin Payne but that isn't to say there wasn't one. There are descendants of Larkin Payne living in Dade County now. Sue
