    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ua.2ADI/58.63.1.1 Message Board Post: These direction are if you're coming from Fort Payne, AL ... Take I-59 North toward Chattanooga, TN Take the GA Hwy 136 exit toward Trenton (Exit #11?) (here, I believe you take a right off the exit and go to the red light ... take a right at the red light and this should put you on Highway 11 - - this is the part I'm not 100% sure about, so you may have to get directions to Hwy 11, but it's not far from the Interstate) Shortly after you turn onto Hwy 11, you should see Moore's Funeral Home on your left. Go straight on Hwy 11 through Rising Fawn to Cloverdale Road (approximately 10 miles from Moore's) Turn left onto Cloverdale Road Go 4.2 miles to 5300 Cloverdale. You will have to watch closely for a lane with a gate on the left (there is a small white church without a name on the right side of Cloverdale) the lane is fenced on both sides, curves around a pond to the top of the hill, where there is another gate that says "Hartline Cemetary" The entrance to this cemetery is a little difficult to find .. and even once you've found it you're still not sure you're in the right place. My husband's great-uncle took us there the first time, and he said that the property between the road and the cemetery had been sold, but that the new owner still had to provide an access way to the cemetery, so there is this small lane (believe it's a dirt lane) that looks like it's a private lane. No sign at the road, so keep a watch for the little white church. If you need more info, let me know. Happy hunting!

    3. I did not want to correct your posting on direction to the Hartline Cemetery; however, you evidently forgot about the Rising Fawn Exit. I tried e-mailing you privately, but my e-mail was returned because you spam blocker deleted it because my address was not on your list of allowed senders. We live on Highway 11 just at the Rising Fawn exit. To go on to the Trenton exit, you would have to backtrack about 7 miles. I have put the first part of the direction below, I did not know where the Hartline Cemetery was, so that part will remain the same. Ina Allison in Rising Fawn, GA Coming from Ft. Payne on I-59 N toward Chattanooga, take the first exit in GA, exit #1 Rising Fawn, GA. After exit, turn right will deadend on Highway 11, turn right and go approximately 3 miles on Hwy 11 through Rising Fawn to Cloverdale Road, Turn left onto Cloverdale Road > Go 4.2 miles to 5300 Cloverdale. > You will have to watch closely for a lane with a gate on the left (there is a small white church without a name on the right side of Cloverdale) the lane is fenced on both sides, curves around a pond to the top of the hill, where there is another gate that says "Hartline Cemetary" ----- Original Message ----- From: <jnkstone@mindspring.com> To: <GADADE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, July 21, 2003 9:31 PM Subject: [GADADE] Re: Hartline Cemetery > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ua.2ADI/58.63.1.1 > > Message Board Post: > > These direction are if you're coming from Fort Payne, AL ... > > Take I-59 North toward Chattanooga, TN > Take the GA Hwy 136 exit toward Trenton (Exit #11?) > (here, I believe you take a right off the exit and go to the red light ... take a right at the red light and this should put you on Highway 11 - - this is the part I'm not 100% sure about, so you may have to get directions to Hwy 11, but it's not far from the Interstate) > Shortly after you turn onto Hwy 11, you should see Moore's Funeral Home on your left. > Go straight on Hwy 11 through Rising Fawn to Cloverdale Road (approximately 10 miles from Moore's) > Turn left onto Cloverdale Road > Go 4.2 miles to 5300 Cloverdale. > You will have to watch closely for a lane with a gate on the left (there is a small white church without a name on the right side of Cloverdale) the lane is fenced on both sides, curves around a pond to the top of the hill, where there is another gate that says "Hartline Cemetary" > > The entrance to this cemetery is a little difficult to find .. and even once you've found it you're still not sure you're in the right place.
