I do have more on the Holland line, but am at a dead end with Doc. What records are available at the courthouse? Are any researchers in Dade doing cemetery surveys? The genweb.com tombstone project for Dade is EMPTY except for partial transcriptions I put on there. I am pretty sure Doc is a brother of Gallatine Stephens as a John and Gallatine, brothers, signed a legal document together. Anybody know anything or anywhere I can search? I have always heard that they came from SC to TN to Dade Co., GA and then some went to DeKalb Co., AL and possibly Jackson Co., AL.
