I was a child the last time I was there. I believe I am researching the same Gass Family as you. My husband's Ggrandfather was John Raymond Gass who married Amanda Palestine Guess. Found our family in the 1900 Census of 1900-Bolivar Township, Jackson County, AL. Family 53-53. I don't have a lot on the Gass families but would be willing to share what I have.
