    3. Someone and I have talked about Odian Castleberry, too much stuff to dig thru to find who that was. In an earlier post I gave the link to Researching Southern Claims Commission Records. When I was looking at the site, I saw under the GA listing of claims, Odian Castleberry. The entry was: Odian Castleberry; claim number 16791; County of Walker (so might be a different Castleberry); and number of fiche on this name, 1.     3. There was an Amanda Disheroon, b. 1834 who married into my Johnson family. She married James Main Johnson, brother of my g-g-grandfather. He died in 1864 (during the war). I know they had two children, the first born in 1858, but I don't have their marriage date. The Johnsons lived on Lookout Mtn. near the Dade/ Walker Co. line. Linda Hawkins Wilson

    2. Maxine, there were some people from TX who were in the Dade Co Library a couple of weeks ago working on the Disharoons who were in the county about this time. It seems she said they were also in Walker Co. I'm not sure if they left their name and address but will check.
