    3. Hiram and Bettie Forester are buried in the Miller Cemetery in Rising Fawn, Dade Co. Their tombstones read: Hiram Forester Feb 2, 1868 - Dec 27, 1937 Bettie Jean Forester Feb 5, 1872 - Nov 14, 1947 IHiram may have been James Hiram and the son of Edward and Sarah E. Forester. 3. I found some more information on Emmual F. Avery that I just remembered having: Emmual F. Avery was a farmer and a WW II veteran. He died 7 March 1963 at 11 p.m. in Tri-County Hospital of a heart attack. He was born 29 Nov 1907 in Dade Co GA to C.C. Avery and Lavina Ruth and was buried in Sarah's Chapel Cemetery. >From this information C.C. Avery was still living. Tri-County Hospital is located in Fort Oglethorpe (Catoosa Co) GA which is across Lookout Mountain. Although a Chattanooga hospital would have been closer to the Averys, Tri-County was and still is the nearest hospital to us here in GA. The hospital still has the name of Tri-County but now goes by Hutchinson Medical Center. If this is your Luvina's son, she was (per info on tombstone) only 16 when Emmual was born. There is an obit in the Chattanooga Times for Luvina and for Emmual per the online index. Sue

    3. Thanks for all the information. Lou Vena first married a James Washington (Dee) Wooten. I would really like to know where he is buried if you have any of that info. Then she married Melvin Tinker, I believe, in Birmngham, AL. Then she was married to a Brown. I don't know anything abotu him. Then to Chris Avery. Somewhere, maybe after the Brown, she way married to a Grey. Emmual F Avery was not the son of Lou Vena. He was the son of Chris from another marriage. My relation to her is her marriage to James Washington Wooten. Regards Dale Gregory

    3. Dale, Chris Avery's grave is unmarked if he is buried in Sarah's Chapel Cemetery. However, the tombstone for Lovina reads: Lou Vena Forester Avery Jan 29, 1893 - Mar 18, 1969 Buried next to her is Emanuel F. Avery Nov 29, 1907-Mar 7, 1963 GA-Pvt, US Army, WW II Sue ----- Original Message ----- From: Dale Gregory <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 23, 2001 1:15 AM Subject: [GADADE] Hiram and Betty Forester > Does anyone have any info on Hiram and Betty Forester.
