Hi Im a Crawford in Halifax ,Nova Scotia Canada.. my ancestors came up from Georgia in 1783... His name was Edward Crawford.. aparently he lived in aaa place called Beaver Dam, and Rocky Comfort... and had grist mills etc.. He sided with the british during the war...and had to leave for Canada He was a Captain in the british Militia... id love to be able to find out anything about him.. ie: family etc...He came here with a wife, 2 daughters and 2 sons.. anything would be a help/... are those places i mentioned in Crawford County?
