It is another GREAT resource. http://genforum.familytreemaker.com/ga/coweta/ Phil Tidwell has posted some amazing things -- including partial transcriptions of the Bethel Methodist Church records. Bethel has been in operation since the 1826. Some of the families found in the Bethel records (and also buried there) include: Nixon (anyone researching PLEASE contact me) Pennington (ditto for Pennington) Higgins Vicary Thurmond Odum Stewart Thompson Entrekin Addy Neill Bethel ME is located on Luther Bailey Rd. in the 1st District of Coweta Co -- w/of Haralson & S/of Senoia; about 45 min s/of Atlanta off I-85. It is STILL in operation! I had the pleasure of visiting this cemetery while on vacation 2 weeks ago -- now I have the records to go with all of the photographs I took. I hope this helps someone!!
