Seeking any info on the following family: Lindsey PERDUE b. c1805 NC d. m. Permelia PERDUE (d/o James PERDUE & Polly HOWARD) b. c1814 Jones Co., GA d. children: George W. married Ann PERDUE Mary J. married William B. FREEMAN (they also lived in Coweta Co.) Emily married Hiram HAYES (Female) married Cicero NORRIS James Info that I have on this family is that they lived in Meriwether Co. for many years where Lindsey was a Justice of the Peace & also owned a public ginnery. Just before the war, he sold his home near Greenville & relocated on a fertile plantation in south Coweta Co., where he & Permelia lived to a "very old age". Any info on this family appreciated.
