He married Gaberilla McMillan, 21 Jul 1868, in Early Co. GA. His name apears in the 1860 Census of Randolph Co., GA and in 1870 and 1880 in Early Co., GA. I am looking for his father and siblings. I found a listing of "Coweta County, GA Cemeteries" and found several Broadwaters in the Oak Hill Cemetery. If you know anything about the Broadwaters, please contact me. Thank you. 3. In 1843, my ggggrandmother Mary Thompson married my ggggrandfather Lindsey Mabrey Burney. Family tradition says that Mary's father was a ferry operator on the Chattahoochee. When Lindsey arrived, he could not be ferried across because of a flood. He fell in love with Mary while waiting for the flood to abate. I would like to know where the ferry was, who Mary's father and mother were, and if she had siblings. Thanks, Sharon
