Is anyone researching Kings in Columbia Co.? I am trying to find the parents and family of Mary Polly King who married Simon Ward in Richmond Co. in 1830. The King family came over either from Germany or Holland. We think they were Dutch but sail from Germany. They landed in Savannah, GA. Does anyone have a site that might give the Ships landing say early 1800s or late 1700s? Simon Ward and family moved to around Grovetown in Columbia Co., by the 1860s and are recorded in the census. There are some Kings in that area also that we know were Dutch. Also where do you go to find naturalization papers? I feel lost with so few facts to go on.
