Avera entered into marriage bond with William Stone (of Maryland). She was probably that daughter Nancy mentioned in the 1799 will of Isaac Avera in Lincoln County Ga (formerly Wilkes). They removed to Putnam County where William died in 1829. Nancy was born 1784 or 1779; and died 1886 Fayetteville, Ga. It is probably their son John H. Stone who succeeded Eli Buckner as militia Captain of their District in Putnam Co for the 1830 Census.
