Tom, your Daniel's brother, Capt. John EADES, JR., and Jane [Jennie] FEE were my 3rd great-grandparents, through 1st child Mary Ann EADES and George GULLETT - so we are 5th cousins! 2nd child Margaret Ervin EADES wrote in her Memoirs about Uncle Daniel returning in a futile attempt to persuade John to leave AL before the wars started. Is that where you got your story? She said Daniel was stolen by Indians as an infant ... raised by Medicine Man ... learned his trade and the languages ... didn't say how he returned to his family.
