Michele, No - even though the name "Annie Dozier" tends to run through our family. I mentioned that John and Luncinda Greenway Dozier had a daughter named Fannie (born in that time frame). I am told by an older aunt who lives in Burke Co., GA that Fannie never married and was provided for by one of her brothers. This aunt told me that she was buried in Burke Co., in a family cemetery. I can't seem to put my hands on my notes at the moment to find the name of that cemetery. But I have no documentation of this, only the word of my aunt. My grandfather, James Ollie Dozier ( 1901-1968) met his bride to be while serving at Ft. Bragg, NC in the military. After marriage, he stayed and reared his family in Cumberland Co., NC. To this day, we often return to the Burke Co., GA area to visit our Dozier family. But - I don't know and don't have the documentation of my GA family like I do my North Carolina families. By searching NC Archives, I have found family members that had been forgotten due to premature deaths, etc. My point is that mistakes can be made by the best and the brightest. Therefore, I will keep an eye out for a connection with your Annie Dozier. Is the location of her burial in Columbia County, GA? I can't help but wonder if this Annie could have been a younger sister to my John?? Cathrine
