Hi Michele, The Humphrey Evans Co.C l5th.GA. Inf.CSA- buried at the Evans/Heggie/McDaniel cemetery is the Grandson of Humphrey Evans b.l776 VA. This cemetery is at the homeplace where I grew up near Clarks Hill Dam, Columbia County so I am very familiar with this. Still looking for Humphrey Evans B.l776 Va. D.l862 Columbia Co. Ga.
