The Magruder Plot where the Olive Graves are, is located off of Clarys Cut Road in the woods there that the paper company has, it is the road just past Harlem High School, on the right going towards Harlem. I have been there and have pictures of the graves that were there then, I will just have to find them in the many pictures that I have. It was a fairly long walk to the graves and a lot of it was through thick woods, this is definitely not the time of year to go to it!!! Snakes and the heat do not sound like a go hunt to me. This is at Magruder's corner or the windmill corner but I have never seen a cemetery plot there. > > "There is also a Magruder Family Plot. Did you'all know about the new and more complete cemetery book that Jean and Bill Blackard are putting together through the Historical Society? That is interesting because when we were up in Harlem for the week of the 4th of July, we looked at some property on Clary Cut Road. The entire length of it is being developed! Where on earth are those graves? By the way, for you guys that live in Columbia Co, we are looking for 3-5 acres of property. We will be able to buy as soon as our house here sells (we live in FL). We are interested in Columbia Co and McDuffie Co around Dearing :) Just in case anyone is selling... michele simmons lewis Diggin' in the dirt, lookin' fer them roots!
