There is a marriage record in Richmond Co. for Simon Ward and Mary Polly King on 8/2/1830. Simon Lived in District 119 in Richmnd Co. until somewhere close to 1850 as he is recorded in the census record in Columbia Co., GA in 1860. Mary was suppose to be German or Dutch, I believe German. They lived in and around Grovetown. My ggrand mother (Mary Zemlar) was their daughter and married John M. Bugg ca 1850. After he was killed in the Civil War she married James Taylor Newman. I am against a brick wall trying to find Mary King's family. Would appreciate any help that anyone can give me.
