1) There is an unincorporated MOONTOWN community in eastern Madison county, Al (Near Gurley/Brownsboro), and a MOONTOWN Airport. I'm pretty sure it had nothing to do with the Space industry of nearby Huntsville. 2) There were BRISCOEs in Columbia County circa 1790 who were from Maryland. They may or may not have been associated with my STONEs from Maryland. (In Port Tobacco, Md, lawyer William Briscoe Stone's mother was a Briscoe. Fifty items of Wm's personal and business correspondence are in a collection at the University of Maryland at College Park. Non-circulating, dang it!).
