In answer to cloyce palmer regarding John Dill and Phoebe Brown - I'm sorry but that particular book does not list any Dill's. I also wish I knew how to get more information from Columbia County short of going to the courthouse. The only other Columbia County information I have found is at the genealogylibrary.com site (a paid service from Family Tree Maker) that has Vols. 1-9 from "Georgia Pioneers" there and "They were Here" Vols. 1-7. The problem is that I do not find their search function to also work exactly right and you end up having to scan a lot of material. There is one reference in "They Were Here", Vol. 1,on GenealogyLibrary.com to a Phebe Dill that I happened to see - In the Quaker records, she transferred from Wrightsboro, Ga. monthly meeting to the Ohio Mont.
