I am looking for some info about Thomas Edmondson from Columbia Co, that married Patience Spires from Lincoln Co. I am guessing that Thomas was born about 1765-1775. Thanks :) michele simmons lewis Diggin' in the dirt, lookin' fer them roots!

From records in the Daughters of the American Revolution library in Washington, DC, it appears that the father, Zachariah Spiers, of Patience was in SC during the Revolution before he moved to Richmond Co., GA about 1786. You may want to search SC for the family of Thomas Edmondson. From: "Early Georgia Wills -- Lincoln County" by Sarah Quinn Smith (1960) as copied by researcher Gene E. Spiers at the DAR Library, Washington, DC: Page 219 (Wills, Book A, 1796-1807) Page 62 SPIRES, ZACHARIAH April 2, 1806. Wife: Rhoda. Children: Hezekiah Spires and daughter, Patience Edmondson.
