    3. Dr. Allen Jefferson AUSTIN and Dr. Laban Turk AUSTIN, Sr. would have most likely attended medical school in GA between 1820 and 1870. Does anyone know what medical schools were in existence in GA during those years? Thanks for your help. Bob

    3. Try the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. I have Georgia ancestors in that same time period who attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. If you don't find them in GA, don't hesitate to look farther afield - they were more mobile than we think.
