Thank you for the information. I thought I received that Dutch Fork as being NC. I will go back and look but it seems one census record gave the birth place as SC but I had not been able to prove that. That is interesting as I knew there was a German settlement in SC. Is it Orangeburgh? I can't remember. I know there were some Kings there but I couldn't connect at the time. Maybe the time has come. This has been my brick wall for so long. Thank you. Beulah McCain
