Ga Query Forum Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ga/Columbia/548 Surname: RAMSEY, FLEMING, MALONE, DUCKWORTH, GRUBBS ------------------------- Are your Grubbs related to the John Grubbs who was with John Ramsey and his children, James, William, Randolph, Christianna & Jeremiah Duckworth, Eleanor & Martin Malone, and Margaret & John Grubbs who had traveled down from Orange County, NC, about the time of the battle of Alamance? Some of them signed Regulators Advertisement #9 (see NC Colonial Records pp. 733-736) there including John and Benjamin Grubbs. John was in Columbia County in 1805 to sign a deed on his father-in-law's property(Col.Co.Deed Book "N" p.220), but I believe he and Margaret settled in Burke Co.,GA.
