I was doing some research on my Family Tree Marriage Archives and found a Jane Jenkins Married James Fuller on March 5, 1835 Jane in the daughter of Lewis Jenkins and Mary Sanders, she was born in 1808 but not sure where. James I don't know anything about and taking a long shot that this is the Jane Jenkins is in my line. If someone could do the look up for me I'd be most grateful. Thank you Julie

I have two questions about this document summary which I found in the Richmond County Historical Collections of the GA Chapters of the DAR, compiled 1927. 1. I would like to know where to locate it, or at least a good idea. I am assuming Augusta, but everytime I assume wrongly it costs me a few more dollars. Whoever said documents are often found in other counties are right. <grin> 2. This document shows my 3rd great grandparents, William Collier and Sarah Germany Collier. It shows an assumed sister of Sarah named Maria, with William as her guardian. THEN it shows John Collier (William's father) as guardian of Sarah. Now this does not make sense to me. I realize I need the whole document to figure it all out, but it makes no sense that Sarah's father-in-law would be her guardian?? Thanks for any ideas. Sydney Cardner (the Sydney is female) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 1816 Dec. 3 WRIT OF PARTITION Usual procedure, for partition of 474 acres, estate of James Germany, deceased. Returns: 1/4 (no acreage given) to William Collier, and wife; 1/4 to William Collier, as guardian for Maria Germany (150 acres); 1/4 to Richard JELKS (no acreage given), and wife; 95 acres to John Collier as guardian of Sarah. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
