I went to Columbia Co. Ga. and went through the marriage records. I found: Joseph Benning, instead of Joseph Burning married Jane Meriwether Feb. 15, 1810. Joseph Benning, instead of Joseph Banning married Marantha Moore June 25, 1798. This is one of my family lines. I found this in the marriage books at the Columbia County Court House in Appling, Georgia. Just wanted to correct the error.
