Michelle, I have traced my Dozier family back to Columbia Co., GA.. They were John Dozier and Lucinda Greenway Dozier. This information was gathered from the death certificate of some of their children. The family eventually relocated to Burke Co., GA. Their children were Fannie Dozier b. unknown; Robert Henry Dozier, b. 1860-1935; A. G. Dozier b. 1870-1915; Luther Irvin Dozier b. 1872-1905; Lewis Oliver Dozier b. 1876-1943. I keep hitting walls that connect my John Dozier to the Dozier Family at large in Columbia Co., GA. Would you by chance have any information on this family? Two of the above sons married into the Ganus family - if that is a clue. Thanks, Cathrine
Yup! I sure do :) Dr. Nathan Crawford 21 Dec 1775-05 Oct 1861 born in Columbia Co, GA. Will filled in Columbia Co, GA. Son of Charles and Jane (Maxwell) Crawford. Pauleta, Sorry I didn't answer you earlier. Thank you for the information on Simmons Crawford and wife Pamela E. Moore. I do not have any other information on Pamela E. Moore, maybe she was the sister of Mary Moore who married a Samuel Bowdre. This gives me a little more information to work with in my researching.
