By the way, have you ever heard of a Preston Ricketson who was in Ware County in 1919-1920 and was shot by his wife, Mary Rowland Ricketson? He made moonshine out in the Okefenokee Swamp plus other things and beat his wife almost to death and she shot and killed him. Six months after she shot him and went to court, she was still bruised from the beating. This happened in 1920, I think. Would love to have any info that anyone has on him. and his family. Mary, b. 1902/06 was raised in Hazelhurst but I do not know where they married. Maybe Preston was from that area or from Coffee County. I know from my husband's Wilcox line, there was a lot of Ricketsons in Coffee County,. Does this ring anyone's Bell? Joyce
