My dad's father was Manning Spivey,born Jan.25,1888.He died,April 28,1947.His wife,my grandmother was born Oct.10,1894,Died May 15,1969. Yes,Joshua Sr.kirkland was married twice.Manning spivey was also married twice. His first wife died and is buried at Harold Grove Church cemetery.Manning then married her half sister Lillie.(My Grandmother). Yes in the database you will find Manning Kirkland Married to Mary Kirkland.Manning and Mary had two children before she died.My uncle Homer and my aunt Vivian.Manning and Lillie had 7 more.I have a picture of my Papa Manning with Mary and uncle Homer when he was a baby.My family also has pictures of my grandparents Manning and Lillie.These are my dad's parents!You will find Manning and Lillie buried side by side at the Chatterton Church Cemetery on the Nicholls Highway.My papa died at age 59,my granny at age 75. My grandmother was the daughter of Joshua Jr.,not Joshua Sr.You have not confused me in the least.I have been in this old world 53 years,my dad is still living and most of his brothers and sisters.They know who their parents are.
