Hi Everyone, Back from vacation!I will be going to the FHC here in Richmond this week.I have Clayton Kirkland for Clydie and nc/sc Graingers for Ray; anyone have any other lookups they need? Slightly off topic here:I found 2 oversized tea towels at an antique mall.One has the Scottish tartans for the Scottish clans.The other is the Scottish Arms of the Chiefs of Clans and Families.I thought these were pretty cool!I am planning to have them both framed to protect them. I seem to remember a discussion about the Kirklands belonging to the Douglas clan,was it? Hi Denah, Hope you had a great time on your trip. Thank you so much for posting the results of your trips to the FHC here and on the Kirkland list. We appreciate it so much. I've printed out most of it and hope to be able to sort through it when I get a few spare minutes. And yes, the Kirkland family is a part of the Douglas clan, or so our cousin Walt Kirkland once told me. If I haven't lost it....I have a copy of the family crest that he scanned and sent to me.
