Winn ------------------- Wooten, Lee Co., In the mid 1800's there we was a stage stop here called Sneed's Store. Henry P. Wooten was named the postmaster of Sneed. Sept 1 1857 When the railroad came through they changed the name to Wooten's Station. Incorporated as a town August 23, 1872. The name was changed to Leesburg (g.v.)
