    3. See obit below. Does anyone know if Mims Grave Yard is in Florida or here in Coffee County? Also I had this Maude as [d] Nov. 20, 1920. And her mother, Mary Ann Curry [d] Dec 1940, where the obit states that both her parents were dead in 1922. Have I place the wrong Maude Wilcox with this obit? Lourice The Douglas Enterprise ... Nov. 24, 1922 MRS. MAUD WARD BURIED AT MIMS GRAVE YARD Mrs. Maud Ward, widow of John C. Ward, was buried at Mims Grave Yard last Wednesday, November 22, 1922. Mrs. Ward died in Sumner, Fla., at the home of her son, Will P. Ward. She is survived by the following children: A. F. Ward, and Carl Ward of Jacksonville, Fla., Will P. Ward of Sumner, Fla., and Annie Clem Goolsby, of Ala.. They all attended the funeral. She is survived by the following sisters: Mrs. Clem McAllum, Mrs. Ruth Mims, Mrs. Annie Miles and Mrs. J. J. Ward, and leaves one brother, Dan (Buddie) Wilcox. They were all at the funeral. The funeral service was conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. C. Bryan. Mrs. Ward, before her marriage, was Maud Wilcox, daughter of Dr. Dan Wilcox and Mrs. Mary Ann Wilcox. They are both dead. Mrs. Ward has been afflicted for several years, but by her strong mind and will power was able to keep up and did much real good service as a trained nurse. She delighted in this sort of work. She was a devout Christian and member of the Methodist church. It is remarkable how she kept up so well and worked and suffered and laughed all through the years. Some one has said the "duty" is the most sublime word in the English language, but Jesus said it was "service". Maud served her day and generation well. A large congregation of relatives and friends attended the funeral and paid their last tribute of respect to her memory. And now she has gone to rest with Him, who promised rest, and will there wait for me, and you, in the "Sweet, Bye and Bye". W. P.
