Hi Folks, I thought I would remind you about the upcoming HERSEY, WHITE, ROWELL Family Reunion. The Reunion will be on Saturday, August 12, 2000 at the Bickley United Methodist Church in Bickley, GA (located northwest of Waycross on the road to Nicholls). Family members and friends will start gathering at the Church by about 10:00 AM and there will be a lunch around Noon with plenty of time after lunch for family discussions. Attendees are being asked to bring a covered dish if they can. This Family Reunion is by and for the descendants of Thomas Minor WHITE (1859 - 1927) and Mary Elmina HERSEY (1875 - 1960). Mary Elmina was the daughter of Enoch Marion HERSEY (1848 - 1933) & Mary BAGLEY (b 1846). Thomas Minor WHITE was the youngest son of Peter WHITE (b 1807) and Jane FIVEASH (b 1822). This Reunion has been organized by Sherrie Carpenter COURSON, the granddaughter of Treeman WESTBERRY and Ruth Naomi WHITE (1911 -1998) (Ruth was the daughter of Thomas Minor WHITE). Ruth Naomi WHITE was previously married to Willie Clarence MINCHEW (1909 - 1933). So, there are quite a number of old time Ware and Coffee County families represented at this Reunion.
