I am looking for information about Jacob Morgan (may also have been know as Henry Morgan) He was born abt. 1837. I have his children listed (but not verified) as: Mary Morgan married unk. Kirkland Missouri Morgan Mrs. Fredonia White of Pearson Catherine Matilda Morgan b. 21 Feb 1868 married (1) James Scott (2) Charlie H. Merchant Victoria Marlzia Morgan b. 25 Oct 1869 (also known as Torrie) married James W. Sirmans- they may have lived in Kirkland, GA Charlie Leon Morgan b. 26 Sep 1884 James Henry Morgan My direct ancestor is Catherine Matilda Morgan. I would especially be thrilled for any leads on her husband James Scott. They had three children and then he died. And that is all I know about him. Their children were: Mary Matilda Scott married John W. Jernigan in Leliaton, Atkinson Co., GA Minnie Missouri Scott married James Allen Hughes (my direct ancestor) Lelia Scott married Albert Jones.
