I'm looking for a Jonathan Neal Hooks, possibly born in the 1880s, to pass on information to a great-granddaughter of his. There is a death certificate on file in Georgia for a J. N. Hooks who died Mar. 11, 1949, in Telfair County. His age was 67 and he was a resident of Jeff Davis County. Since he was listed as a resident of Jeff Davis County, he was probably buried there, but what do I know? I don't have the cemetery books for Jeff Davis or Telfair counties. If someone has a cemetery book for Jeff Davis or Telfair county, would you please look up J. N. Hooks and let me know what it says.
