Pearlie Kirkland was a daughter of William Franklin Kirkland and Sarah Newbern. Pearlie was born on 3-2-1875 in Echols Co., Ga and she died on 1-12-1948 in Clinch County, Ga. Pearlie Kirkland married Matthew Tomlinson on 1-14-1892 in Clinch Co., Ga. Matthew was a son of William Sirmans Tomlinson and Matilda Giddens. Matthew was born 7-5-1822 in Clinch Co., Ga and he died 5-1-1894 in CLinch Co., Ga. Pearlie and Matthew had the following children: **Willie Alice Tomlinson, born 11-7-1892; married Charlton Augustus Fiveash, Sr. on 7-11-1909 George Tomlinson, born 9-13-1894; married Wealthy Guess Tomlinson John Glenn Tomlinson, born 9-22-1896; married Hattie Lott William Tomlinson, born 2-18-1900; married Thelma Hughes 10-9-1921 Glenn Tomlinson, born 11-18-1902; married Janie Idella Vickers Laura Tomlinson, born 12-18-1904; married Carly Joyce 1-7-1919 Edna Tomlinson, born 10-8-1906; married Ernest Sirmans Annie Lou Tomlinson, born 9-7-1908; married Monroe Haskins Matthew Tomlinson, born 10-4-1912; married Estelena 11-24-1934 Eva Mae Tomlinson, born 3-4-1914; died 10-16-1915 Carrie Caroline Tomlinson, born 9-26-1894; married Clifford D Mobley 7-23-1922 Matthew and Pearlie Kirkland Tomlinson are buried at North Cemetery in CLinch Co., Ga. *WILLIE ALICE Tomlinson is my grandmother.
