The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary, Swainsboro, with the Revs. Gene Sego and Johnny Beasley officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in Ramah Cemetery, Pierce County. Mr. Davis, a native of Bacon County, had retired as a lumber company worker and was a member of Twin City Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Alice Roundtree Davis; two sons, Julian Raymond Davis and Billy R. Davis, both of Twin City; a daughter, Judy Hooks, Stillmore; three brothers, Thomas Davis, Cumming, Jack Davis, Alma, and Robert Davis, Alpharetta; two sisters, Lattressa Hallstead, McDonough, and Retha Bristol, Alma; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
