Byrd CHurch is the name used by some of the older folks for Mt Pleasant Baptist CHurch. One of my Byrd relatives was supposedly "turned out of the CHurch" for "gossiping". About 3/4 the way on the road from Broxton to Snipesville, a sign will point left to Mt Pleasant CHurch. It is about a a mile on the left. The road it is on is the one from Pridgen to Snipesville.
