My 1982 edition of "Coffee County, Georgia Cemeteries says "(located on the Wes Tanner farm in Central Church area)". I always assumed that meant Central Baptist Church. Another note, quoting Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia, Vol. I, pg. 292, refers to the cemetery being in land lot 364, 6th district. I'd like to know exactly where it is. Clyde

As you leave Central Baptist Church on the dirt road traveling east. Stay with the main portion of this dirt road by bearing to the right (which takes you in a southerly direction), you will continue on across the New Forest Road, then in about 1/4 miles the dirt road will make a sharp left turn, at this point PULL OFF THE ROAD and STOP. You can get out of your car and walk the fence line headed south (this fence line runs between the farms of Wes Tanner and Fulton Meeks) and walk to the cemetery. Now you can drive closer, but I might get you lost. The last time I was in that cemetery it was in bad condition and that was many years ago - as Wes Tanner walked with me to the cemetery. Somehow, I don't remember ever hearing a name for that cemetery. Emmett
